Nick Lovett, also known by their artist name black girls are god, is a Black non-binary woman artist and writer. blackgirlsaregodart focuses on natural Black beauty, mental health, and the love of abstraction and color. 

Blackgirlsaregod believes that within every Black girl, there is a god. Within every Black woman, there is a god. 

The artist started doodling fantastical faces with shapes when they were a young girl.
